You’ve Been Turning to the Trails and Now the Trails Need You

5/22/2020

It is in times of stress you understand what is most important to you, what you hold most closely in your heart, and for me it’s finding places I can actually HEAR my heart – walking a trail, breathing the air, listening to the sounds of quiet, that is where I find my heart center.

We couldn’t agree more.

Now, more than ever, we are finding solace in the outdoors.  We are turning to the trails. Every one of us is being reminded of just how important lands and trails are to our physical and mental health, everyday.  Since the outbreak of Coronavirus, GVLT has worked tirelessly to make sure that your local trail system remains safe and open to the public, your open spaces, beautiful and unspoiled.  And, we remain committed to doing just that.

But this doesn’t come without a cost.

Won’t you give back to the trails you love? These are challenging times but we must remain focused on the things that will help us weather this storm. Please, make a financial contribution of any size to GVLT today.  Every dollar you donate will help us maintain the Main Street to the Mountains trail system and your support is needed now more than ever.

You can:

As our Board Member, Bill, recently reminded us:  “Trails are the lifeblood of a community. Yes, they help us get to various destinations but more important, they connect us to people and place – the heart and soul of where we live, work and play.”

If that connection is important to you, make a donation to GVLT today. Together, we can protect the places that sustain us.

Stay safe out there.  And, we’ll see you on the trails!
