Development and Communications Manager

“I love working for an organization that conserves invaluable natural resources and develops safe spaces for people to play outside. ”

Hannah Overton joined the the GVLT family in 2020 as a database wiz and social media savant. Hannah hails from Kansas City, Missouri, where she grew up devouring KC BBQ and running wild on her grandparents 40 acre farm in northern Missouri. After earning a degree in communications from William Jewell College in 2011, Hannah spent a couple of summers slingin' burgers in Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, where she fell in love with mountains and seasonal work. After two years of ski-bumming around Breckenridge, Colorado, she finally made her way back to Montana in 2014. In between waitressing jobs in Bozeman and Big Sky, she put her degree to work writing advertising copy for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle and creating content for Montana Conservation Corps. The hectic and community-centered hustle of nonprofit work suits her, and she was thrilled to land a job with GVLT that allows her to make the most of her creativity and love for the outdoors. Hannah is passionate about playing in every form, whether it be outside on the trails or on stage in community theater productions. When she isn't forcing her colleagues to learn TikTok dances, you can find her hiking, camping, paddle boarding, or dressing up her two small dogs in silly costumes.
