Born and raised in Michigan, Collin fell in love with the natural world at a young age. Time spent catching crayfish and minnows in his backyard creek inspired a lifetime of environmental awareness. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a B.S. in Economics. Since venturing west, Collin has managed and cooked in a farm to table restaurant, lent a hand at local farms, and worked on a commercial fishing boat in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Moving to Montana has allowed him to pursue his passion of recreating in the mountains via bike, split board or by foot. He is excited to use his role at GVLT to encourage conservation through community based outdoor experiences and inspire support in Bozeman’s local trail systems.
