Partner Spotlight Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association
Southwest Montana has a new local chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association. Formerly The Dirt Concern, an extension of the Gallatin Valley Bicycle Club, Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association or SWMMBA’s mission is to enhance access to trails and advocate for mountain bicyclists in our region. GVLT relies on partners like SWMMBA to support our trail work and we’ve scheduled three volunteer work parties for this spring and summer to get the local biking trails in tip-top shape. Board President Ian Jones says, “SWMMBA is excited to work with GVLT to better our community. Trails are the best way to enjoy Bozeman, and we’re looking forward to getting some great local trails back into shape for riding season.” The trails give so much to our quality of life, take a few hours to give back and share good trail experiences with others.
