NextGen’s Pop Up Picnic
GVLT's NextGen Advisory Board is celebrating the special places in our community with the Pop Up Picnic. BYOP&B (Picnic Dinner, Beverages), we'll bring the atmosphere. Don your plaid. Stay in suspense with a surprise location to be changed each year.
Celebrate summer, the beautiful spaces that make the town of Bozeman unique, and the people in our community with GVLT’s NextGen Advisory Board at the first ever PopUp Picnic in Plaid!
Don your best plaid outfit and party the night away with live music and a curated summer setting at a super secret location in Bozeman (to be revealed the day before the event).
Click here to purchase tickets. Get them before they sell out!
Here’s why this isn’t like any other event:
After buying a ticket, you’ll be emailed one day in advance letting you know the secret location somewhere in the Gallatin Valley. The mystery is what makes this fun!
You bring what you need
In true picnic fashion, you’ll bring your own food and bevvies, as well as a plaid picnic blanket and utensils, plates, and drinkware. Need inspiration for picnic meals? See the list below of participating restaurants that will be preparing a special picnic menu to order. We’ll cover the atmosphere, you’ll bring the dinner party (minus the tables and chairs).
Participating restaurants: (featured menu items are just a suggestion, you can order anything off the menu for pick up!)
Red Tractor Pizza- 11′ pizza and salad combo, $25
Wild Crumb/ Finks Deli- Charcuterie board, sandwiches and cookies (10% of sales will be donated to GVLT)
Sweet Chili- Cashew Chicken
Roost- Whole bucket of fried chicken
Genuine Ice Cream Truck will be joining us in the evening so leave room for dessert!
Make sure you wear plaid!
As with any themed dinner, you must dress the part! All participants will wear plaid, to create a fun atmosphere (and so you know you’re in the right place). There will also be live music by Alex Robliotta & Alex Hatcher Jazz Duo during the evening.
Why are we doing this?
We are celebrating our community by highlighting one of our favorite places in town (location is secret until the day before!) and raising funds to help preserve open space and build trails in the valley. The first ever fundraising event for GVLT’s Next Gen and tickets are limited to 100 people. We hope this event grows to be one of the most fun community events in the valley.
Funds from this event will go toward the creation and installation of a public display to showcase the various mountain ranges and peaks visible from the top of Peets Hill.
What do tickets cost?
This year, tickets are $20 per person, but there are only 100 tickets available. We’ll also have a champagne toast for all participants during sunset.
Sorry, this not event is not suitable for children or dogs.
