NextGen S.T.I.R.

Join us for a new series of events hosted by our GVLT NextGen Advisory Board. NextGen S.T.I.R. (Socialize, Talk, Interact, & Remember) events are totally free and open to the public. These monthly meet-ups will feature casual conversations about how you can connect with GVLT, and other conservation-minded members of the community. All ages welcome!

Everywhere you look, there’s food! Join us for an educational walk focused on uncovering the ecological role of humans within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. We will explore the identification, foraging, and caretaking of wild edible and medicinal plants, as well as the intersections of culture and conservation. This will be a short walk with more time spent engaging with the plants and discussing than spent covering ground. Kids are welcome!
Meet at 5:20 PM at GVLT parking lot if you’re wishing to carpool we will leave promptly at 5:30 PM. The walk will begin at 6:00 PM at the Middle Cottonwood Trailhead. Please dress suitably for the trail and weather. Bring water if needed. Come with a sense of curiosity and passion for the landscape.
