Annual GVLT Events
Summer Trails Challenge
Raising money for GVLT is simple! Log your miles on the trail to help match our Trails Challenge fund from local businesses. 1 mile=$1 to support GVLT’s work to expand the Main Street to the Mountains trail system.
National Trails Day
June 3, 2017
Want to get your hands dirty? Grab a shovel and volunteer for National Trails Day. Every year on the first Saturday in June, hundreds of community members join GVLT for a morning of work to maintain or build our community trails. This event is free and open to the public.
Summer and Fall 2017
There’s no better way to explore the Main Street to the Mountains trail system than with a group of new friends. These one-hour guided trail walks will help you discover new paths. There’s a topic or activity for every age and interest! Walks are hosted throughout May, June, and July.
Our annual supporter social is a fantastic opportunity to meet other trail-loving folk. Renew your annual gift or give what you can, enjoy a beer, and help yourself to the Build-Your-Own Trail Mix Bar. Each year at Trail Mix we honor an individual with the Trail Partner of the Year Award.
Evening on the Land
August 12, 2017
Our bi-annual outdoor gala is as unique as it is grand. Guests enjoy views from a tent on a beautiful piece of conserved land in the Gallatin Valley. The event includes a locally-sourced dinner and live auction featuring priceless Montana experiences. Dance the night away and celebrate our region’s wide, open spaces.
