Give Big Gallatin Valley

On May 3rd and 4th, join us for a 24-hour community wide celebration of giving. With just $10, you can contribute to the causes that matter to you, right from your computer or mobile device. Nonprofits will be stationed around town so you can share your joy for giving with others. Conservation Bus Tour

Much of our valley's open spaces are in agricultural production. We're taking two bus loads of our friends to meet the people behind the scenes and learn about the rich heritage that was protected along with the land. Special guests and partners from the Gallatin History Museum will be sharing fun facts about the agricultural history of the Gallatin Valley and how it has shaped the place we know and love.Learn More

Summer Trails Challenge
June 2nd-June 22nd
Local businesses will donate to GVLT every time you hit the trails. GVLT will receive $1 from the Community Match Pool, donated by local businesses, for every mile that is biked, hiked, or run on trails and logged on the form below. 1 mile=$1. It is that simple.
During the 2017 Summer Trails Challenge we surpassed our goal! We raised $46,500 with over 53,000 miles in 3 weeks to build more trails. Thank you so very much for your support.

Raising money for GVLT is simple! Log your miles on the trail to help match our Trails Challenge fund from local businesses. 1 mile=$1 to support GVLT’s work to expand the Main Street to the Mountains trail system.
National Trails Day

Want to get your hands dirty? Grab a shovel and volunteer for National Trails Day. Every year on the first Saturday in June, hundreds of community members join GVLT for a morning of work to maintain or build our community trails. This event is free and open to the public.
Summer and Fall 2017
There’s no better way to explore the Main Street to the Mountains trail system than with a group of new friends. These one-hour guided trail walks will help you discover new paths. There’s a topic or activity for every age and interest! Walks are hosted throughout May, June, and July.
Our annual supporter social is a fantastic opportunity to meet other trail-loving folk. Renew your annual gift or give what you can, enjoy a beer, and help yourself to the Build-Your-Own Trail Mix Bar. Each year at Trail Mix we honor an individual with the Trail Partner of the Year Award.
Evening on the Land

Our bi-annual outdoor gala is as unique as it is grand. Guests enjoy views from a tent on a beautiful piece of conserved land in the Gallatin Valley. The event includes a locally-sourced dinner and live auction featuring priceless Montana experiences. Dance the night away and celebrate our region’s wide, open spaces.
Local Food Conservation Tour

Much of our valley’s open spaces are in agricultural production. We took a bus load of our friends to meet the people behind the scenes and learn about the innovative ways they are farming and distributing local food in our community.

Gather your favorite homies for a celebration of an amazing summer on the trails! Spin around in costume on your pimped out bike and go for a ride to try and hit all the designated trail stops around town for chances to win outstanding prizes. Food trucks and beer will await your return.
