
Lawrence (Lawrie) Lieberman brings over 35 years experience in senior level management positions at Stanford University, Silicon Valley technology companies, and non-profit environmental organizations. Prior to moving to Montana in 2015, Lawrie was Chairman of the Desert Research Institute Foundation Board, providing applied environmental research and technologies (predominately water) on each of the globe's continents. Lawrie's corporate background includes financial and partnering positions with Apple Computer, Business Objects and others.
Lawrie received his BA from Dartmouth College in 1972, and his MBA from Stanford in 1975. Additionally, from 1976-1981, Lawrie served as the Stanford Business School Dean of Admissions.
Lawrie lives in Bozeman with his wife of 45 years Moira, along with their two labs. Lawrie is an avid fly-fisherman, skier, and back country hike, and occasionally fakes being a cowboy poet.
