Denny is an architect with a wealth of planning and land trust experience. While living in Chicago, Denny was on the Evanston Plan Commission, and the Economic Development Commission. He then followed a career opportunity for his wife, moving to north-central New Jersey, where he began his own architectural practice. While there, Denny joined the Planning Board, and the Historic Preservation Commission. Denny also served on the Board of a local land trust, the Schiff Natural Lands Trust. During his tenure, the land trust expanded its reach, writing conservation easements on adjoining properties and increasing the land protected from 340 acres to almost 500 acres. Denny’s wife moved to Bozeman in 1993 and he arrived in 2008. They love the lifestyle and the physical environment in Bozeman. Denny has a passion for the outdoors, is an avid cyclist, and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and downhill and Nordic skiing.
