NextGen Advisory Board

GVLT’s NextGen Advisory Board cultivates the future conservation leaders of our community by connecting rising leaders (ages 21-45) to GVLT’s mission of trails and open space. 

NextGen members raise awareness of GVLT in the community, particularly with their peers. They plan opportunities for younger community members to engage with GVLT through events and volunteering. In short, they ensure that GVLT’s work remains relevant and meaningful for future generations as our community grows. And GVLT invests in the NextGen Advisory Board by providing valuable leadership training and networking for our valley’s future leaders.

Be an advocate. Help share GVLT’s mission and inspire more people, especially your peers, to care about and support local trails and open spaces.

Build your network. Connect with other like-minded people while learning more about trails, conservation, nonprofit work, and leadership. No conservation or board experience is required!

Get involved. Help plan events, volunteer, and find meaningful ways to make a tangible difference in the places you love.
